  • Kaz Grala finished 14th in his first-career NASCAR Xfinity Series race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway
  • NHMS is the Boston native’s home track, and the 19-year-old had a large crowd of family and friends in the grandstands
  • Grala received body damage from a competitor on pit road while coming in for service on lap 81, requiring multiple pit stops to repair
  • Grala’s best position in the 200-lap race was 10th, which he was running at the race's halfway point
  • In his seven races with Fury Race Cars, Kaz Grala has run in the top 10 at one point in six events
  • The No. 61 went a lap down when an ill-timed caution came out following the team’s green-flag pit stop on lap 164, but Grala was awarded the free pass when the next yellow waved on lap 179

“Our IT Coalition/ Mustang was really good today. I think we were a solid top-10 car, but just couldn't seem to catch a break. We got a little damage on pit lane that we had spend time repairing early in the race, and then we got trapped a lap down when the caution came out during a green-flag pit stop. We still battled back to the lead lap to grab a 14th-place finish, so it was a solid day for us. It's always fun to come back home to New Hampshire Motor Speedway with all my friends and family.”
