CHICAGOLAND SPEEDWAY

No. 61 ITC Ford Mustang

  • Kaz Grala continues his journey with Fury Race Cars by making his first NASCAR Xfinity Series start at Chicagoland Speedway this Saturday
  • This weekend’s race is possible thanks new partner IT Coalition and long-time partner Kiklos Greek Extra Virgin Olive Oil stepping up to sponsor Grala at the 1.5-mile oval
  • Grala has one NASCAR Camping World Truck Series start at the Joliet, Illinois track, earning a ninth-place finish in 2017
  • The 19-year-old driver currently sits only 26 points outside of the Playoff bubble and the No. 61 of Fury Race Cars is just 32 points outside of the top 30 in owner points, which would lock the car into the field in the event of rain at future races
  • In its first four events as an Xfinity Series team, Fury Race Cars has earned two top-10 finishes (including a 10th-place finish in their debut at Charlotte Motor Speedway, their only other 1.5-mile track start so far) and maintained an average finish of 12th

“I am so excited to continue our streak with Fury Race Cars this weekend. I can't thank Kiklos and IT Coalition enough for stepping up in a time when we needed it most to be able to make it to the racetrack. We debuted on a mile-and-a-half track about a month ago and picked up a top-10 finish, so I feel great about our program going into Chicagoland. We're getting very close to the driver Playoff bubble and to the top-30 in owner points, which would be huge milestones for our company. Not only are we hungry to make our sponsors proud this weekend, but another solid performance could move us one step closer to our championship aspirations.”
